Landscape Architects of the Cathedral Close
It's Women's History Month, and we our honored to have the first American woman landscape architect, Beatrix Jones Farrand, serve as as the Cathedral's landscape consultant (before the 1907 Cathedral groundbreaking). Florence Brown Bratenahl (founder of All Hallows Guild), served as the Cathedral's landscape designer from 1928 - 1936.  Read more about the people who have shaped the landscape surrounding the Washington National Cathedral by clicking HERE
